-

Augmented version of a paper entitled Development as Discontinuous Societal Learning: cyclic transformation of the global answer economy originally prepared fora meting of Integrative Working Group B (Colombo, July 1982) of the Goals, Processes and ndicators of Development (GPID) project of the Human and Social Development Programme of the United Nations University (UNU). This document was originally distributed as a separate monograph in 1983 and was subsequently incorporated into Policy Alternation for Development (1984). The paper provides a structure linking reviews of alternation as it emerges in studies from a wide range of sources. The paper is in 9 separate parts [searchable PDF version]
